WCA Extracurricular Clubs provide students with opportunities to enrich their learning experience. Extracurricular Clubs facilitate creativity, cooperation, active lifestyles and personalize a student’s interests.
Elementary Clubs: The elementary extracurricular program is offered from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and runs on Wednesdays. The aims of the program are to offer students a diverse range of skills and promote enjoyment and enthusiasm in their learning. Elementary clubs include arts and crafts, dance, computer coding, chess, woodworking, embroidery, and creating comic books. Secondary Clubs: Students in Grades 7-11 are able to participate in clubs during the Wednesday enrichment period. Students are able to propose clubs at the start of the academic year. If approved, a supervising teacher will be assigned to the club. Popular clubs include WCA News Network, Art Club, Board Game Club, and Sports Club. Students may incur additional fees when they participate in some Extracurricular Clubs. Additional fees include extra materials and resources. Our Extracurricular Clubs are delivered in English by the WCA staff. They offer all students additional English practice and skills. All Extracurricular Clubs are intended for the students to enjoy a balanced school week. |
